Sineng Electric Opens a 10GW PV Inverter Factory in Ningxia, China

On July 22, Sineng Electric announced that a 10GW modernized inverter factory in Ningxia was officially put into operation, marking its acceleration of the manufacturing capacity expansion. The construction of the factory was announced by Sineng at the end of 2020. With this new manufacturing facility, the company's total annual inverter production capacity has increased to 23GW. 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary of Municipal Committee of Wuzhong and Secretary of Tongxin County Committee Mr. Wang Wei, Deputy Secretary of Tongxin County Committee and Acting Magistrate of County People's Government Ms. Yang Chunyan, Deputy GM of CNNC Mr. Shen Yanfeng, Deputy GM of CNNC Rich Energy Mr. Xiao Yafei, President of Sineng Electric Mr. Wu Qiang, Vice President and CTO of Sineng Electric Mr. Li Jianfei, and many other leaders. The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Ma Yulei, the member of Standing Committee of Tongxin County Committee and Executive Deputy Magistrate of County People's Government.

As one of the company’s most important manufacturing bases, Ningxia factory is built according to world's leading inverter manufacturing standards, catering to the increasing demands of high-quality inverters. The smooth operation of this project will further promote the fulfillment of Sineng Electric’s capacity, and continuously improve its ability to realize global market demands. At the same time, it will actively increase local employment, empower the county's economic development, and boost the national strategy of vigorously developing Northwest clean energy base. Guided by the goal of carbon neutrality, Sineng Electric continues to expand its capacity and scale to serve more customers worldwide, accelerating the application of clean energy, helping improve the environment and benefiting global ecological development.

Ms. Yang Chunyan, the deputy secretary of the county people's government stressed in her opening speech, "This factory is one of the significant construction projects of our county, which fully embodies the speed of CNNC and Sineng, showing the sense of duty of national enterprises, as well as the comprehensive strength of private corporations. The commissioning of this new factory is expected to empower the new energy business in Ningxia, promote the local energy structure upgrading, and make positive contributions to rural revitalization and economic development in the context of carbon neutrality national strategic goal."
